File a Complaint

The St. Louis Association of REALTORS® requires that all complaints, in order to be processed efficiently, be submitted on the E-1 Ethics Complain form.

Please take a moment to review the Appendix X to Part Four “Before You File an Ethics Complaint”, so you understand the process and can manage your expectations.

If you choose to file a complaint, please complete the complaint form and return it to us along with:

  • A written narrative of what happened
  • List the Article(s) of the REALTORS® Code of Ethics which you feel have been violated and how it was violated
  • Include a copy of all pertinent supporting documents in the matter

 

Please be advised that complaints filed with this Association have to be filed within one hundred eighty (180) days of the time that the alleged office and facts relating to the complaint have been known by you in the exercise of reasonable diligence. If you need assistance in filing this complaint, please contact the Association office.

You should be aware that the St. Louis Association of REALTORS® has no authority to make any monetary/or earnest money awards or legal interpretation/decision whatsoever in matters brought before the Grievance Committee and the Professional Standards Committee of the St. Louis Association of REALTORS®.
