There are many benefits with joining the St. Louis Associaton of REALTORS®. To begin with, your membership at the St. Louis Association of REALTORS® automatically extends to the Missouri Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®. The combined power of these 3 organizations provide a necessary focal point for you to locate products, services, information and many other tools to aid your business. You get the opportunity to network with peers, join committees and participate in special events and activities. Membership in the St. Louis Association of REALTORS® entitles real estate professionals to use NAR's federally registered collective membership trade name, REALTOR®. This tradename sets you apart from non-members. You can proudly display the REALTOR® logo on your business card and marketing literature, but being able to promote yourself as one of the most recognized tradenames is not the only benefit of membership.

Multiple Listing Service (MLS), supplied by Mid America Regional Information Systems (MARIS), is a comprehensive database of properties throughout St. Louis City & County, St. Charles County, Jefferson County, Franklin County and Lincoln County. MARIS

Commercial Information Exchange (CIE), is a proprietary database highlighting commercial properties in the St. Louis region. Commercial REALTORS® can search for available properties and promote their clients properties to other REALTOR® members CIE

SupraNET Lockbox system is a common lockbox system that provides a more efficient, safe and secure environment for both the home owner and REALTOR®.

Approved Contract & Forms are provided to Associaiton members. The latest versions of these copyrighted contracts and forms can be accessed online or purchased at the REALTOR® store.

The REALTOR® Store located in the Associations building provides a full range of essential supplies and marketing tools such as brochure boxes, sign riders, combination lock box, safety devices, REALTOR® logo items, apparel items, closing gifts and much more. REALTOR® store

Classroom facilities at the Associations building are available for room rental at a discounted rate for members.

You Can Grow Professionally

Education and Training Programs are provided on a continual basis at the Association building. The education department offers continuing education courses, both online and in classroom format, for license renewal required by the Missouri Real Estate Commission every two years.

Professional Designations training is made available to members. The education Department provides a state of the art facility for agents to acquire professional designations such as Graduate of REALTOR® Institute (GRI) and Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) as well as specialized educational professional development seminars on real estate related topics.

You Can Get Involved, Network, and Make a Difference

Political involvement is critical. Many of our members serve in their local communities in elected and appointed offices. Other members stay connected to elected officials and help them understand real estate issues. As a REALTOR® you have an opportunity for political involvement. Political Action

REALTOR® Housing Asistance Fund (RHAF) has provided over $500,000 in financial assistance to organizations that focus on ending homelessness in the St. Louis Metropolitan area. Members can get involved in raising funds and awareness of issues involving homelessness. RHAF.org

Committee Involvement provides an exceptional way to network with other members of the Association. One of the greatest benefits of a REALTOR® membership is the opportunity to participate in the many social and educational meetings and committees offered by our local association and by the state and national organizations.

Protecting and Promoting Your Interests

Ethics and Professional Standards protects you and your reputation. The professional standards committee reviews complaints, holds ethics hearings, and sets and administers disciplinary action. Code of Ethics and Professional Standards

Arbitration and Mediation is an association's service for resolving commission disputes without having to go to the expense of court and legal fees. A trained mediator is brought in to work with both companies or individuals involved in the dispute to bring it to a settlement. Arbitration

Legislative Efforts protecting the business interests of its members and property-owners through three very active committees which monitor, analyze, and provide appropriate responses to local, state and national legislation which may affect how REALTORS® conduct their business. Legislative
