In response to the growing concern in the region for our homeless and recognizing the natural link between that problem and the REALTOR® profession, The REALTORS® Housing Assistance Fund (RHAF) was established in 1989 as a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) vehicle for SLAR members to give back to their community and serve the area homeless. The foundation’s ultimate goal is to eventually end the plight of homelessness for those affected by hardship in the St. Louis area. RHAF funds charities that combat homelessness and provide transitional housing, giving those in need the opportunity to have a safe, warm place to call home.

RHAF has raised over $750,000 since its inception through various fundraisers, corporate gifts, and direct donations from members of St. Louis Association of REALTORS® and St. Charles County Association of REALTORS®.
