REALTOR® Housing Assistance Fund (RHAF) provides REALTORS® with an opportunity to give back to the communities of St. Louis. Our most recent projects include:

2019

  • Rebuild Day
    • Volunteering in the renovation of four homes in the Dutchtown neighborhood of St. Louis.
      This marked the fourth consecutive year of St. Louis REALTORS® and Rebuilding Together St. Louis coming together with more than 120 REALTORS® and affiliate members aiding in interior and exterior updates to properties of homeowners in need.
  • Shelley House
    • Friday, May 24, 2019 was another landmark day for St. Louis REALTORS® in recognizing the journey of civil rights and what role the American Dream of home ownership plays in fair housing for all.
      Led by Congressman Wm. Lacy Clay, in partnership with the U.S. Department of the Interior, and St. Louis City Branch NAACP, Bob Bax, President of St. Louis REALTORS®, spoke on behalf of the importance of the Shelley House in the unfolding story of fair housing and our commitment to preserve the house so future generations can benefit from the lessons this landmark offers.
  • Home Run 5K & 1 Mile Walk
    • It was a beautiful day for the annual Home Run 5K/1 mile walk. The event raised needed funds to continue to fulfill its vision of quality housing and vibrant communities for all those in the St. Louis area.

2018

  • Rebuild Day:
    • Volunteering in the renovation of five homes within the Ville neighborhood of St. Louis City
    • $50,000 donation to Rebuilding Together St. Louis.
  • Community Park:
    • Construction and development in the Greater Ville neighborhood of a community park complete with urban gardens, flower boxes and handicap accessible walk ways.
    • $25,000 donation to Rebuilding Together St. Louis.
    • Read the Success Story as published by NAR.
  • Shelley House Redevelopment:
    • Restoration to the historic Shelley House which was the focus of the 1948 Supreme Court case Shelley v. Kraemer that ruled judicial enforcement by state courts of racially restrictive covenants violated the Constitution.
    • Replaced stolen plaque commemorating this historic landmark.
    • $25,000 to Rebuilding Together St. Louis.

2017

  • Rebuild Day:
    • Volunteering in the renovation of three homes within the Old North St. Louis neighborhood of St. Louis City.
    • $50,000 donation to Rebuilding Together St. Louis.
  • Pocket Park:
    • The construction and development a new pocket park within Old North St. Louis neighborhood of St. Louis City.
    • $20,000 donation to Rebuilding Together St. Louis.

2016

  • Rebuild Day:
    • Volunteering in the renovation of three homes within the Pagedale community of St. Louis County.
    • $20,000 donation to Rebuilding Together St. Louis
