Charlack is a city located in northern St. Louis County with a population of 1,363 at the time of the 2010 census. Covering no more than 0.26 total square miles of land, the city is neighbored by St. John at the north, Sycamore Hills at the left, Vinita Park at the south and Bel-Ridge at the right.
Along with the population recording of 2010, the census also calculated that within those 1,363 residents, there are 565 households and 337 families residing in Charlack.
Unfortunately, a majority of Charlack’s history has not be recorded but the origin of its name comes from its location at the intersection of St. Charles Rock Road and Lackland Road. Charlack was incorporated into St. Louis county in 1945.
