Sycamore Hills

Within the heart of northern St. Louis County and nearly 20 minutes northwest from Downtown St. Louis City, you’ll find the village of Sycamore Hills. As of the 2010 census, Hills’ population was recorded at 667 residents. Encompassing no more than 0.14 total square miles, the village has 294 housings units with an average density of 2,100.0 per square mile. The village was officially incorporated in 1941 and has had a steady population size with an original peak of 989 in 1950.

As of 2017, Sycamore Hills is primarily a residential community with no business establishments. These residential homes are constructed of mainly brick and masonry, are only about one and a half to two stores and have no more than four bedrooms. They range architecturally from American traditional bungalow to Tudor Revival style, with very little repetition in design.

Residents of Sycamore Hills are served by the Ritenour School District.
