
Nominations are now open for certain positions on the 2022 St. Louis REALTORS® and National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) Board of Directors and will close on July 1, 2021, at 5 p.m.

Who may apply?
The nomination process for the St. Louis REALTORS® Officers and Directors and National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) Director positions is an open process in which REALTOR® members may nominate themselves.
The ideal candidates are REALTOR® members who have knowledge or experience with governance, the ability to think strategically, and the commitment and capability to work effectively within a collective decision-making group. Directors are the stewards of the Association. The Board provides strategic leadership, a shared vision, sense of mission, and is responsible for the Association's fiscal health.
Eligibility and Criteria:
Candidate must be an active St. Louis REALTORS® member at the time of nomination and throughout their service. Commercial Division members are eligible to run for these positions as well. Mandatory attendance at Board of director meetings and the annual January Leadership Training Session and Board Orientation is required for those elected.
Positions and Number Available:
- President-elect (1): Completion of at least two (2) years as an officer or director.
- Treasurer (1): Completion of at least two (2) years as a director.
- Director (4): Completion of at least four (4) years cumulative service on a committee, task force, council, ad-hoc committee, or advisory group (e.g., served on one (1) committee for four (4) years, served on two (2) committees for two (2) years, etc.).
- NAR Director (1): Completion of one (1) three-year term as a St. Louis REALTOR® Director; and one (1) two-year term as a Missouri REALTOR® Director.
Deadline - Nominations will close on July 1, 2021, at 5 p.m.
All nominees are encouraged and invited to participate in a virtual Candidate Forum held July 21, 2021, from 9 – 10:30 a.m. This forum will serve as an opportunity for candidates to share their vision for the St. Louis REALTORS® and respond to questions from member attendees.
The Credentials Committee will meet after nominations close and will review all nominations to ensure candidates meet the respective position qualifications and will notify candidates of their eligibility. The election will open at 12 noon on July 28, 2021, and run through August 18, 2021, at 12 noon. View the election timeline.
The election results will be announced during a special Facebook live event scheduled for the afternoon of August 18, 2021.
