Letters of Good Standing

A Letter of Good Standing refers to a notice issued by the REALTOR® association where a member has a current or former relationship. It verifies that the REALTOR® has complied with the associations’ rules and bylaws. A Letter of Good Standing confirms an applicant has paid their national, state, and local association dues; including verification the licensee is in good standing with their state licensing office, confirms the licensee has satisfied NAR's mandatory requirements; and states whether the licensee has outstanding disciplinary action or unsatisfied fines with the association.

In short, a Letter of Good Standing serves as proof of a licensee’s membership compliance status.
