St. Louis REALTORS® closed out the real estate license renewal cycle on September 30, 2022, after a very robust in-person and virtual continuing education (CE) schedule. The Professional Development team has taken the past few weeks to reflect on how members responded to the many educational choices and evaluate member feedback provided throughout the cycle, so we know exactly what our new learning opportunities will look like in 2023.
The next Missouri Real Estate Commission (MREC) licensee renewal deadlines will be in 2024, but there’s no reason to wait! This next year, we are introducing new St. Louis REALTORS® certification classes in the areas of property management, new construction, real estate investing, and contracts & forms. The Broker of Record certification class will make a return as well! These are full-day CE master classes that take a deep dive into timely and relevant topics, so your expertise in each area is elevated.
Additionally, the free, one-hour Members First: Here and Now webinar series will be back by popular demand and will feature technology, entrepreneurial, and marketing best practices. Something new that was piloted this past year was “in-person” Members First: Here and Now seminars presented by the Affiliate Council. Expect to see these seminars, one per quarter, covering a range of ancillary real estate topics related to the home buying and selling experience.
Also slated for the 2023 schedule are some ever-popular National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) designations/certifications. All of these have CE accreditation and proven methodology that new or seasoned real estate professionals can immediately put into practice to expand and grow their businesses. Team or individual success is limitless with the confidence that comes from earning a specialized designation or certification!
St. Louis REALTORS® will continue the mission of comprehensive education in various formats on fair housing, appraising, title, and lending that will provide resources and fact-based information to help our members better serve all communities and demographics so that anyone that wants to own a home can own a home.
