The National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) recently announced that throughout 2024, the Accredited Buyer's Representatives (ABR®) course will be free for members. (This course is typically $295.) There will be live virtual offerings of the 2-day course and the self-paced virtual course. Members can find information about the designation, an FAQ, and upcoming courses at become.abr.realtor. If you are looking for live virtual courses after May 2024, you can find those and any upcoming ones on the Center for REALTOR® Development Online Learning.
Some important information to highlight for receiving the official ABR® designation:
- Must complete the ABR® course;
- Must complete a qualifying elective course (most other NAR/CRD designation, certification, and certificate courses qualify);
- Must have completed five (5) transactions as a buyer's agent in your career;
- Must submit your ABR® application; and,
- Must pay annual dues ($110) to keep the ABR® Designation (Annual dues are waived for the first year after taking the course)
