The 2024 Leadership Academy class held its first session on February 26 with a day-long Amazing Race event around St. Louis. Students embarked on a scavenger hunt that took them to CITYPARK to see the newly installed public monument commemorating Mill Creek Valley, a community clean-up event, and lunch at Rooster on South Grand Blvd. provided by USA Mortgage. The scavenger hunt concluded with the ultimate teamwork activity– an escape room! This allowed students to get to know each other in a fun environment, explore our city, and show off their competitive edge.
