On September 19, 2022, at Harris-Stowe University’s Emerson Performance Center, President Katie Berry issued an apology on behalf of St. Louis REALTORS® for its role in a discriminatory system that created barriers to homeownership for the Black Community.
In addition, St. Louis REALTORS® also announced a new “Reimagining St. Louis” plan.

On August 8, 2022, President Joe Biden granted Governor Mike Parson’s request for a major disaster declaration. This allows residents in the City of St. Louis, St. Louis County, and St. Charles County whose employment was lost or interrupted due to the flooding that occurred at the end of July 2022 to apply for up to 28 weeks of Disaster Unemployment Assistance (DUA) should they meet the criteria.
