Leadership Academy Program

This brief presentation will include a look into the St. Louis REALTORS® Leadership Academy. The goal of St. Louis REALTORS® Leadership Academy is to give members a chance to LEAP into the future – Lead, Engage, Act, and Perform! The program's objectives include: Developing future leaders for our communities and the Association; developing leadership skills applicable to all levels of one's life, personal and professional; increasing awareness of real estate and association management issues/challenges as well as the purpose, structure, and benefits of the national, state, and local associations for our industry; expand candidates' knowledge of the community, government initiatives, and programs that relate to our businesses and life; and, improve candidates' people, team building, and communication skills to develop a well-rounded and effective leader.

Professional Standards Enforcement Process

As a REALTOR®, you know that you are held to the strictest standards of the Code of Ethics. When you became a new member of St. Louis REALTORS®, you were bound to take a required Code of Ethics Course. The National Association of REALTORS® requires to complete a Code of Ethics class within each three-year cycle. So, what if a REALTOR® has failed to meet these standards? You have the right to file an ethics complaint. You might be eligible to file an arbitration request if you believe you are owed money based on an agreement. This session will provide REALTORS® knowledge of the process of Professional Standards enforcement through these available options: Ombudsman program; ethics complaints; arbitration requests; and mediation services.

REALTORS® Housing Assistance Fund (RHAF)

The REALTOR® Housing Assistance Fund (RHAF) is the charitable arm of St. Louis REALTORS®. RHAF is a separate, charitable, qualified 501(3) not-for-profit organization. Its mission is to engage in philanthropic and community activities, contribute to and improve the quality of life in St. Louis and make the American dream of homeownership possible for all in the metro area. The RHAF Board of Directors vets all applicants for grants. Grant recipients are other metro-area not-for-profit organizations doing work that aligns with the goals and mission of RHAF. RHAF is funded mainly by contributions from the St. Louis REALTORS® membership and its fundraising activities.

The REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC) is a bipartisan organization that supports political candidates and policies that protect homeownership and property rights. RPAC is essential for real estate professionals to advocate for their industry and clients. Investing in RPAC is crucial because it allows REALTORS® to have a voice in the political process and ensures that policymakers understand the importance of real estate issues.
